Red Oak Hope : Branding Sessions
Red Oak Hope is a 501(c)3 dedicated to providing freedom, hope and restoration to survivors of exploitation worldwide through holistic care and economic empowerment. We have had the privilege of working together since 2012, creating compelling images and designs to engage supporters worldwide.
Outdated logo using Carolyna Pro font was updated to incorporate an organic hand drawn version of Red Oak Hope. Texture was added by overlaying a image of paper I painted by hand.
Red Oak Hope has had the joy of repatriating numerous women and children to their home country after being stranded or held abroad. I came to the airport and was able to quietly document a few of these beautiful moments.
Red Oak Hope wanted a set of images showing donors where outreach often happens. I followed a staff member while she walked the alleys of a densely populated neighborhood looking for nail salons and massage parlors to befriend women in need of help.
Red Oak’s most important fundraising event of the year is their annual gala. As a way to engage donors, we created a sticker set and a tote bag as a gift for their donation. I hand-lettered the type for each piece and created the designs in PS.
Red Oak Hope uses their annual gala as a way to wrap up the year with donors and celebrate what they’ve accomplished together. I created colorful, hopeful logos digitally and by hand to illustrate each year’s gala emphasis.
