A Quick Trip to Los Angeles
A few images from a short trip to Los Angeles this January
My husband and I had been plotting how I could make a trip to visit my brother and cousin in LA. When our Southwest flights home got cancelled in 2022, we didn’t know this would be the gateway to a trip to the west coast. After the chaos of cancelled flights and a trip extended by 5 days, we received more points and flight vouchers than we knew what to do with!
I asked two friends to come along and it turned into the most lovely ladies trip and artist retreat. We cooked with local and tree ripe produce, hiked the coast in Malibu, gloried in the succulent gardens of Pasadena and indulged in all the dim sum, Taiwanese and Korean food we could.
Dallas Marathon

My husband and our friend Charlie ran the Dallas Marathon with thousands of others in and around downtown Dallas. The moms + babes were able to catch the dads at a few points along the way and at the finish line. It was cold, windy, chaotic, exciting and exhausting (for everyone) but I’m so proud! Best moment was when Gloria said “It’s ok Mommy! I already know Daddy didn’t win!”
